Youth Pastor
Doug Chapman
Deacon
Brother Doug Chapman has played a big part of the spiritual growth at Pleasant View Baptist Church. He formally served in the Army as a Command Sergeant Major for 21 years and then served for 20 years with the VA as a Veterans Affairs Manager. As a Deacon of the church the Lord has used him in many ways to help assist the pastor with visitation, missions, discipleship, Sunday school, administration, spiritual needs, counsel, financial planning, stewardship, property management and so much more. Having been ordained as a deacon and serving in churches in South Carolina & North Carolina for many years while working for the VA the Lord has really used him greatly. His wife Sister Lee is also very active serving at Pleasant View and is our piano player, choir assistant and prayer warrior. This family is a blessing to our church!
